Our engineering platforms for versatile and tailored solutions

Engineered flooring is a living material sensitive to changes in relative humidity (RH). It is essential to fully understand the effects and impacts of these variations.

"It is the responsibility of the client and installer to adhere to industry installation standards. Please refer to the NWFA installation guide attached."

Our engineered plateforms

The bottom siding is made of either a multi-ply Baltic birch plywood base (multi-ply) or a structural substrate of perpendicular wood sticks (3-ply). The upper facings, or wear layers, are made of dry sawn hardwood and vary in thickness from 2.5mm to 4mm. The optimal wear layer varies according to the species and collections.

The selected dimensions for our collections are 3/4" thick by either 4 1/4", 5", 6", 7 1/2" or 10 1/4" wide. With beautiful lengths in some cases up to 83" and precision manufacturing, our oiled engineered collections install easily and look great.

The dimensional stability is without a doubt their greatest advantage, they can be nailed or stapled, as well as installed glued to concrete above or below grade.

Compatible with glycol radiant subfloors, it is however important to add humidity to the residence as needed to maintain the relative humidity above 35% during the critical months of our winters.
